1 lb ground turkey
1 cup chopped onions
1 fresh jalpeno (seeds taken out)
1 Tbl chili powder (or to taste)
1 pk chili seansoning (more if needed)
2 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
1 small can green chiles
1 can tomato sauce with diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz) black beans
1 can (16 oz) red chili beans

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey, onion and jalapeno pepper; breaking up chunks of meat with a spoon, until meat is no longer pink. Drain and transfer to large pot.

Add chili powder, chili seasoning, cumin, salt and pepper, and green chiles; cook and stir until completely mixed in. Stir in tomatoes and beans. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
After it has cooked for about 30 minutes I put it on low and let it heat on low until ready to serve. Just be sure and stir occasionally.
