1 C butter
2 C sugar
2 eggs
4 C flour
Little less than 1/4 C milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter until soft. Add sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy after each addition. Add dry ingredients a little at a time. If dough isn't too warm it will handle with the amount of flour in the recipe. Cookies won't be crisp it too much flour is used. Chill dough an hour or 2. Roll out to desired thickness on floured board. Cut with floured cutters. Bake in 375º oven for 6-8 minutes. Use 2 lb. powdered sugar for frosting.
