2 sticks of butter, not margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 16oz. bag semi sweet chocolate chips
saltines - 1 sleeve
Directions:
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with foil.
place saltines on sheet with salt side up.
In saucepan bring butter and sugar to a boil.
Spread over saltines and bake at 400º for 10 min.
Remove from oven and pour the bag of chocolate chips over the top and spread to cover. If I have trouble melting the chips, I put it back in the oven for 1 min. or until melted.
If desired, sprinkled choppped nuts on top.
Let cool and break into pieces.
