Skirt steak
olive oil
garlic
red and yellow bell peppers
tomatos in puree
bay leaf
white wine
red wine vinegar
onion
cumin
cilantro
Goya Sofrito

Directions:
In a large pot cook the meat in all the ingredients listed above. Make it very juicy and keep the meat submersed. This dish needs to be cooked very slowly. It should take a couple of hours.When the meat is done it should easily shred with a fork. Of course serve this dish with Puerto Rican rice and beans.

Puerto Rican food is very Spanish with a Caribbean flair. The islands have lots of spices, tropical fruits, roots and tubers that contribute to the cuisine. Salud!
