1 C butter
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar, butter and eggs until fluffy and light.
Add dry ingredients and blend well.
Chill dough, roll into walnut-sized balls, roll in 2 T sugar mixed with 2 tsp cinnamon.
Bake on cookie sheet, 2" apart. Bake until cookies are blond (6-8 min) at 400º.
