1- 8 ounce package ditalini pasta
2cups chicken broth
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup onion, chopped
½ cup tomatoes, strained
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon garlic, minced
3 ½ cups frozen or canned peas

Directions:

Cook dilalini according the directions on package. Drain well. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add onion and garlic and cook slowly until lightly browned. Slowly add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano. Simmer about 10 minutes. Add cooked ditalini, chicken broth, and peas. Simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve immediately topped with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
