2 eggs, well beaten
1 large can evaporated milk
1/2 can whole milk
1 c. sugar, mixed with 1 T. flour
1 8 oz. package pitted dates, chopped
1 cup pecans, broken
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Make a custard of eggs, evaporated milk, milk and sugar. Cook
until very thick. Before taking custard from stove, add dates.
Set aside to cool thoroughly. Then add pecans, vanilla and
bourbon. Pour filling into baked pie shell. Top with whipped
cream.
