1 lb. black beans, rinsed and soaked
4 slices bacon, diced and fried
1/2 lb. stew beef
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 onion chopped
2 teaspoons chili powder
Beef broth and water to cover
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Drain and rinse soaked beans. Place in pot with the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil and then simmer for a couple of hours or til tender. Add more water as needed. Serve over rice.
