3 c. light brown sugar
1 c. cream
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook raisins, cream, sugar over low fire, stirring constantly.
Cook to soft ball stage on candy thermometer or until makes a
firm soft ball when dropped in cup of cold water, Stir off fire.
Beat in butter, nuts and vanilla. Sit in stewer pan of cold water.
Beat just until starts to get creamy then pour onto buttered
cookie sheet or pizza pan. Score into 1 inch squares
immediately then break apart when thoroughly cooled. Store in
box in cool place (not refrigerator).
