4 oz margarine
1c sugar
'thumbprint' lemon rind

2 eggs

1 1/2 c flour
pinch salt
1/2 c milk

topping..
1/2 c sugar
1 lemon juiced
Directions:
Directions:
cream together first three ingredients, add eggs and mix well.
add dry ingredients and mix.
pour into 2lb loaf pan and bake for 40 min' at 350.

mix sugar with warm lemon juice and pour over warm cake, THEN LET COOL.
