3/4 C sugar
2 eggs
2 large bananas (1 C)
1/2 C butter
2 C flour
1 tsp soda
dash salt

Cream the butter and sugar, beat in eggs, mashbanans, soft flour, soda, and salt.

Bake in greased loaf pan at 375º for 40 minutes or until center is cooked.

This is another great traditional recipe from Mary Hartman, my first mother-in-law, who I loved with all my heart.

This usually takes longer than 40 minutes to bake, so be sure to check the middle with a toothpick or clean knife until it comes out clean.
