1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Pinto beans, cooked and seasoned
8 oz. grated Cheddar Cheese
Shredded lettuce
Chopped tomatoes

Directions:
Combine meat, onion, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce in heavy skillet; brown. Cover and let simmer while making fry bread ( see recipe below )

FRY BREAD
2 eggs
4 C. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 C. Milk
3/4 tsp. salt
Beat eggs; add milk. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder, mixing together well. Roll out very thin on floured board. Cut into desired shapes and cut a slash in the center of each. Fry in deep fat until brown. Drain on absorbent paper. These are crisp tacos.

In center of each taco, put 2 tablespoons cooked pinto beans; top with meat sauce, shredded lettuce, and chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve hot with picante sauce.
