10 slices of bread, cubed
2 c. grated cheese
1 lb. cooked ground sausage
5 eggs
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cubed bread, cheese, and sausage; put in a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish. Beat eggs with milk; add salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Pour over the bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours. Before baking, pour cream of mushroom soup (that has been thinned somewhat with milk) over the casserole. Bake uncovered at 350º for 1 hour.

For as long as I can remember we have had this casserole every Christmas morning with cut up oranges and coffee cake.
