5 C. Flour
1/4 C. Sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
1 C. Shortening
1 pkg. yeast
2 tsp. warm water
2 C. buttermilk
1/2 C. melted margarine

Heat oven to 400F. In a large bowl, sift flour, sugar, bakingpowder, soda and salt together; cut in shortening. In seperate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water; add to buttermilk. Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Make into biscuits and let rise; brush tops with melted butter
Cook until brown. Makes about 60 biscuits. This keeps well in refridgerator so I just cook how ever many I need for my meal, then use the rest when ever. Last up to two weeks in refridgerator.
