1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. oats
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, brown sugar, and 3/4 cup of the granulated sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flours, baking soda, and salt. Gradually beat into creamed mixture, just until blended. Stir in oats and raisins. Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; roll spoonfuls of dough in this mixture. Bake 2" apart at 400º for 10 minutes. Center should be soft.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
