2 cups rolled oats
2 cups whole milk
2tbsp.butter
1 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisins OR
1 cup finely chopped nuts...
I cup dried cranberries
1 cup dried blueberries

carmel sauce for drizzling over pie.
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablspoon butter
2 tablespoon heavy cream

Directions:

bring milk to a boil, stirring add oats cook 5 minutes add salt and butter to oats, let cool
whip eggs until fluffy incorprated sugar a little at a time, add honey , nutmeg, cinnamon , cloves and vanilla..
add cooled oats to mixture and add nuts, or berries which ever you prefer
placed in a greased casserole dish or a deep dish pie dish.. bake 350º for one hour...
while pie is baking, place brown sugar butter and cream in small sauce pan cook over medium heat until sugar as disssolved and takes on a creamy texture.. about 15 min.. drizzle over pie

I did not put a crust in my pie,,, however I have heard there are recipes with a crust,, this would be your personal preference, if you use a crust, bake crust at 400 degrees for 15 min before adding filling.. lower you temper before putting pie in oven..
I have my pie for a breakfast food,,, if you don't want to use nuts they are optional
