1 C shortening
1 C butter
1 1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 C brown sugar
3 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
5 C flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Blend fats and sugars, add eggs. Beat till fluffy.
Add flour.
Stir in chocolate chips.

Bake at 350º 8-10 min, DO NOT overcook -- cookies in our home are moist, chewy, and decidedly not crunchy. Think of hot cookie dough and you'll get the idea.
