1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
Peanut butter or chocolate or butterscotch chips

(as many as you want)

or craisens and white chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the shortening and sugars. Add eggs and
vanilla. In separate bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda
and baking powder then stir into shortening mixture. Add
oatmeal and whichever chips or combination of chips you like.
Chocolate chips are classic, but my favorite is probably
peanut butter chips or the white chocolate chip, craisen
combination.

Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at
350 for 7-9 minutes.
