Ingredients:  
1 pound white potatoes
1 medium egg
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 T shortening
¾ cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Grate potatoes and onion. Add egg and then dry ingredients gradually. Mix well. Drop one T of batter at a time on a hot greased skillet and brown on both sides.
