2 cups beans cleaned and washed
1 small onion (whole)
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
4 strips bacon
¼ cup dark Karo
¼ cup brown sugar

Directions:
Clean and wash beans. Cook them for 2 hours. Then add the remaining ingredients. Cook another hour or simmer all afternoon
