¾ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 egg
½ tsp salt
2 tsp soda
2 cups flour
½ tsp all spice
½ tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°
Melt shortening and cool. Add sugar, molasses, eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Chill. Form into 1” balls and dip into sugar. Put 2 “ apart on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
