2 sticks margarine
2 cup sugar
2 cups crushed pretzels
20 oz. can crushed pineapple (heavy syrup)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Mix, mash margarine, 1 cup sugar, pretzels in bottom of 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.

Drain syrup of pineapple to a pan and add cornstarch; cook until thick. Cool. Add pineapple.

Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and Cool Whip and spread this on the cooled pretzel mixture. then top with pineapple mixture.
