˝ tsp salt
2 cups flour
2/3 cup shortening, divided
4 ˝ T water

Directions:
Directions:
Blend salt, flour and 1/3 cup of the shortening until fine. Add the other 1/3 cup of shortening and blend until coarse. Add the water and a use fork to mix. Bake 450° for 20 minutes or 350° for 40 minutes.

Jani says: “My grandma is known for her pies. Every Christmas and Thanksgiving, she is THE pie maker. Everyone has their separate favorite requests, which she manages to bring all that she can. Dan of course gets his whole pumpkin pie. She loves making this for him. I always know that whatever is inside, her pie crust is absolutely delicious”.
