2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
2/3 cup cocoa
1 cup buttermilk
2˝ cups flour
2 tsp. soda
˝ tsp salt
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the sugar and shortening slightly. Add eggs. Sift in cocoa. Add milk and mix. Add flour, soda and salt. Add water and mix.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake 45 min. at 350°.
