Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lb. diced bacon
1 lb. cubed ham, pre-cooked
3 (16 oz.) jars chili sauce
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups catsup
3/4 cup dijon mustard
5 cans (31 oz.) pork & beans (or 3 53 oz. cans) or a mixture of any beans your family likes, such as kidney, garbanzo, black, lima, etc.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the ground beef and bacon in a 14" Dutch Oven or simmer at 300º for 1 1/2 hours in a hot oven (14-16 briquets). Add onions and peppers. Cook until clear. Stir in the ham, chili sauce, brown sugar, catsup and mustard. Drain the beans and add to mixture. Reduce briquets and simmer with top and bottom heat for 45-60 minutes. Crack lid slightly, allowing moisture to escape, if necessary. Beans should be slightly thick.

To save time, start this recipe one day ahead. Prepare main mixture, omitting beans until ready to cook. Refrigerate overnight. Blended flavors make this a great second day dish!
