2 sticks butter (room temperature)
3 cups sugar
5 eggs (room temperature)
1/2 pint whipping cream, not whipped
3 cups cake flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Grease and flour tube pan. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add whipping cream and cake flour alternately, beating continuously. Add vanilla and beat for 4 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour, 15-20 min until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Turn onto plate to cool.
