Mississippi Mud Recipe

2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
pinch of salt
4 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1 stick margarine
1/3 cup cocoa
1/3 cup milk
1 Tbs. vanilla
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Melt 2 sticks of margarine and add 1/2 cup cocoa, salt, eggs and sugar. Mix well. Add flour and nuts. Mix well. Put in buttered 13x9" pan. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Immediately pour jar of marshmallow on top. Let cool and add frosting.

Frosting: Melt 1 stick margarine, add the 1/3 cup cocoa, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Spread on top of Mississippi Mud. (Optional: sprinkle with chopped nuts.)
