1 box Quaker Oat Squares
2 cups pecan pieces
1 pkg. dried bananas
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine or butter (1/2 stick)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cereal and pecans in a 13x9" pan. Combine corn syrup, sugar and margarine in a two cup microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high 1 1/2 minutes. Stir, then microwave 1/2 to 1 minute or until boiling. Stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over cereal mixture, stir to coat evenly. Bake 1 hour at 250º, stirring every 20 minutes, adding dried bananas at last stirring. Spread on cookie sheet to cool.
