Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir constantly . It will become milky as it boils. Continue stirring until it becomes caramel in color and it give off a "puff" of smoke. Remove from heat immediatly when it smokes. (mine took about 12 minutes from boiling to "puff".)Pour onto a cookie sheet (with lip) it will spread throughout pan.
Mix 1 10oz. package semi-sweet & milk chocolate chips.
Pour over candy in pan after it has set about 1 minute. Use a spatula and spread over candy (let chips set for about 30 seconds and they will start melting - easy to spread.)
Top with 2 cups chopped almonds.

Personal Notes:
I chill mine in refrigerator for about 2 hours & break into pieces! That's it!
