1/2 C brown sugar
1 tsp whole allspice
1 tsp whole cloves
1/4 tsp salt
Dash ground nutmeg
3" cinnamon stick
2 qt. apple cider

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
Slowly bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove spices.

This makes a great Christmas gift. Put all the dry ingredients in a festive bag, tie on the recipe, and attach to a jug of apple cider.

This smells terrific mulling in a crock pot. Add orange slices to give it a great citrus aroma as it mulls.
