2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. slivered almonds, toasted
¾ c. flour
¾ c. uncooked quick oats
¾ c. butter cut in small pieces
1 T.. cornstarch
½ t. ground cinnamon
4 c. peeled, diced apples or pears
2 c. fresh cranberries
1 pkg. (8oz.) chopped dates

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, coconut, almonds, flour, oats, butter, cornstarch and cinnamon in medium bowl. Sprinkle one-third brown sugar mixture into 12x7” baking dish. Layer one-half apples, cranberries and dates and top with one-third brown sugar mixture. Repeat layers.

Bake at 325º 40-45 minutes or until fruit mixture is bubbly and topping is golden brown.
