4-6 white potatoes wash, peel and cut into 1/2 size pieces.
1 large onion- chopped
3 stalked of celery- chopped
4 slices of cooked bacon
1 c half and half
5 cups of milk (More or less)
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place potatoes in soup pot with enough water to almost cover potatoes. Cook until potatoes are very well done and water is almost gone.

Mash 1/2 of potatoes with a potato masher. Return to pot. Salt and pepper to taste.

Cook bacon, remove from pan/ Cool and crumble.

Drain most of fat. Add chopped onion and celery and sauté until tender.

Add bacon, onion and celery to potato pot. Add half and half and milk. You can add more milk to make more soup.

Simmer for 30 min.
