2 cups flour sifted (White Lily
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup softened margarine
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk.
Frosting:
1 cup hershey's chocolate syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 to 3/4 cups coarsely chopped peanuts.

Preheat oven 350º.Lightly grease and flour 2 -9" cake pans. Mix flour with baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, beat the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy , about 2 min. Add eggs to butter mix. one at a time, beating after each. Beat in peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy about 2 min.Beginning with flour mix,beat into butter mix. and add milk, do this in 3 steps. 1/3 of each flour, milk each step. Beat until smooth about 1 min. Bake for 30 mi. or until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool on wire racks about 10 min. Remove from pans. In a med. bowl mix the chocolate syrup and peanut butter. Mix at med. speed until smooth. Add corn syrup and beat until thick enough to spread. Frost cake and garnish with the chopped peanuts.
