1 package of Kraft caramels
1 5.3 ounce can evaporated milk
1 German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk(half the can). Cook over low heat, stirring until melted. Set aside. Grease and flour a 9X13 inch pan. In large bowl combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts. By hand stir the dough until it holds together. Press half of dough into pan. Bake at 350º for 6 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread rest of dough over caramels. Bake 15-18 minutes. Cool in refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.
