"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

8 oz (2 cups) uncooked dried radiatore (pasta nuggets)*
1 lb ground beef
1 medium (1/2 c.) onion, chopped
1 c. frozen whole kernel corn
1/2 c. mild taco sauce
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 (4oz) can chopped green chilies, drained
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. salt
4 oz (1 c) Land O Lakes cheddar cheese, shredded
2 oz (1/2 c) Land O Lakes mozzarella cheese, shredded
tomato wedges (if desired)
avocado slices (if desired)

Heat oven to 350. Cook radiatore according to package directions. Rinse with hot water; drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, in 10 inch skillet cook ground beef and onion, stirring occasionally, until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain fat. Stir in corn, taco sauce, tomato sauce, chilies, cumin and salt. Stir in radiatore. Spoon into greased 2-qt casserole. Sprinkle cheese over mixture in alternating rows to form 3 Cheddar and 2 Mozzarella stripes. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until heated through. Garnish with tomato wedges and avocado slices.

*6oz (2 c) uncooked dried medium shell macaroni can be substituted for 8oz uncooked dried radiatore
