1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. Cocoa
2 cups sweetened applesauce
2 eggs (beaten)
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
1-6oz pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients and beat with mixer. Put in a greased and floured 10" x15" pan. Sprinkle the 2 Tbsp.sugar, pecans and chocolate chips over the top and bake for 25 min.
