9oz. pkg. meat filled tortellini
2 T. olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
4 oz. cooked ham, diced
2/3 c. strained & crushed Italian tomatoes
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 (generous) c. grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet. Add onion and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add ham and cook unitl darkens, stir occasionally. Add strained tomatoes. Fill empty can with water and pour into pan. Stir well, then add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil and lower heat to let simmer for a few minutes. Once slightly reduced, add cream. Drain pasta and add to sauce. Add handful of cheese to the pan and toss well. Put remaning cheese out for individuals to sprinkle on their dishes.
Serves 4-6.
