2 c. brown sugar
pinch of salt
4 tbsp. flour
3 eggs, separated
2 cup of milk
1 ¼ tsp. Vanilla
1 pie shell, baked
1 tbsp. sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, salt and flour; add yolks. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat until thick and smooth. Cool; add 2/4 tsp of vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Combine egg whites and sugar, beating until still; add remaining vanilla. Spread over pie. Bake at 325 degrees until brown. Yields : 6 servings.
