FOR BUNS:
* 1 {8 ounce} package softened cream cheese
* 8 ounces well drained crab meat
* 1/4 cup chopped green onions
* 1 tsp. dried dill
* 1/4 tsp. each salt & fresh ground pepper
* 1 package hot roll mix
* 1 cup water heated to 120 degrees
* 2 TBSP. softened butter
* 1 egg

FOR TOPPING:
* 1 beaten egg
* 1 tsp. water

*Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets & set aside.*In a medium bowl combine the cream cheese, crab, green onions, dill, salt & pepper;mix well & stick in the fridge 'til it's cold.
*In a large bowl, combine hot roll mix with the yeast packet {from the box}, add the hot water ,egg & butter, mix with your hands 'til the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
*Turn the dough out into a floured surface & knead {with floured hands} for 5 minutes 'til smooth.
*Cover the dough with the bowl & let it rest for 5 minutes. *Divide the dough into 16 equal parts, patting each one into a 3x3 piece *Place 1 rounded TBSP. of the crab mixture into the center of each piece of dough, then form each piece into a ball, sealing well, place on baking sheet, repeat. *Cover with a kitchen towel & let them rise about 30 minutes. *Heat oven to 375 while they rise. *Combine the egg & water topping & brush just before they go in the oven, bake for 15 to 20 minutes 'til golden. *Serve warm.
