1 egg at a time;beat well after each egg. Add sour cream and vanilla AND beat until creamy.Add flour slowly. Batter will be stiff.
Spray scalloped tube pan with Pam. I then use a paper towel and make sure every groover has grease or when you turn it out, it will stick.
SUGAR MIXTURE: About 1/2 cup sugar, 2 or 3 teaspoon of cinnamon, and chopped nuts.
In greased tube pan sprinkle sugar mixture (this will be what shows when done), 1/2 of batter, more sugar mixture, the rest of batter. Smooth and add more sugar mixture. Bake 350 for 45 minutes. If it is browning too fast, spread foil over and continue cookinh until a toothpick comes out "looking right".
