1 C. margarine
1 C. light brown sugar
1 C. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. Raisins, soaked in hot water ( or rum ) for 1 minute and drained
3 C. Quick cooking oats
1 C. Chopped nuts

Directions:

Cream margarine and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Fold in raisins, oats, and nuts. Drop by cookie scoop or melon baller onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 12 to 15 minutes. Don't over cook. When cool drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and milk. Let dry.
