Small amount of onion sauteed.
1/2 Stick Oleo.
2-3 T. Flour
2 Cups Milk
1 Can Canned Mushrooms, or Chipped Beef Cut Up, or Hard Boiled Eggs, or Tuna.

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in oleo. Add flour to thicken. Stir well . Add milk stirring constantly. Add canned whatever. Let simmer until thickened. You may add more flour to thicken more if necessary. Serve over toast.

If you use hard boiled eggs, cut egg white into sauce and sprinkle mashed egg yolk on top of toast and mixture. Better yet, see the Eggs-ala-Goldenrod recipe. :)
