2 large lemons
1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Directions:

Juice the two lemons, getting as much juice as possible; reserve juice.

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Chop lemon rinds into chunks and add to sugar and water mixture. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved, then boil for 1 minute. Strain, discard lemon rind and cool.

Add enough lemon juice to reserved juice to make 1 cup. Pour in 2 quart pitcher, add strained lemon syrup and 4 cups water. Stir well, serve over ice.
