1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 c. warm water
2 packages yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over margarine/butter, sugar and salt. Blend and cool. Add beaten eggs. Let yeast stnd in warm water with 2 tbsp. sugar about 10-15 minutes. Add yeast mixture to first mixture and stir a little. Mix in flour (dough will be sticky). Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.

Remove dough from bowl and cut in half. Flour board and roll each half into a circle. Cut into 12 pie shaped wedges and roll up each wedge starting with wide edge and fasten points to the roll for crescent. Let rise covered with a dish towel on greased cookie sheets until double (about 1 hour).

Bake 350º for 12 minutes.

Yields 24 crescents.
