Large bone with meat or cut up leftovers.
Water
Vegetables of your choice.
Noodles or rice.

Directions:
Directions:
If you use a bone, simmer in water to top of bone about 3 hours or until meat comes easily off the bone. If you use leftover meat, cut into pieces, add water to cover and add bouillion cubes for flavor.
Remove bone and strain water. Put meat back into kettle. Add vegetables of your choice cut into pieces. Onions, parsley, carrots, potatoes, celery, even tomatoes. Add more water if necessary. Can also add a handful of noodles or rice to the pot. Simmer till vegis are tender. Serve!

This one is mostly directions. You can create what you want. I needed the know how when I first got married so had to ask Mom how she made soup.
