Babyback pork ribs – however many racks you want
1 clove garlic - chopped
3 bay leaves

Cut up individual ribs and cover with water in a pot.
Boil with cloves and bay leaves until cooked. Drain.
May be refrigerated to be barbequed later.

¾ c. cornstarch
6 ¾ c. brown sugar
2 T. salt
2 T. celery seed
1/5 c. chili powder
6 c. catsup (2 – 32 oz bottles)
3 c. water
½ c. vinegar
1 ¼ c. Worcestershire sauce
¼ c. liquid smoke

Mix cornstarch with cold water and add all ingredients.
Bring to boil to thicken.

Lather the ribs with the sauce and barbeque. Don’t
barbeque for too long – just warm through or the sugar
in the sauce will burn. Can be used with chicken too.
