Buttercream Icing Recipe

1 cup Crisco
2 tsp. flavoring (1 butter 1 cream bouquet)
1 tsp. salt
Mix in large bowl of mixer.
2 lbs. powdered sugar
c. milk
Beat for several minutes (10-15 minutes) until light and
Add desired food colors.

Non refrigerated cake filling:

Small carton of cool whip
Small pudding mix (vanilla or chocolate)
Mix well together and let set for 3-5 minutes.
Spread filling between two cakes.

Keep left over icing in refrigerator in a tightly closed

This is a wonderful frosting for frosting cakes and
making roses, clowns or any fun piped frosting figures
or designs.
