3 cups flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cream of tarter
2 1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sour milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Grease baking sheet. Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening. Beat egg and add to milk. Add dry ingredients. Mix with fork 20-30 times. Bake at 375º.
