1 (15 oz) box Raisin Bran
3 cups sugar
1 qt buttermilk
5 tsp soda
1 cup shortening, melted
4 eggs, beaten
5 cups flour
2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Raisin Bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in a very large bowl. Add beaten eggs, shortening and buttermilk and mix well. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator up to 6 weeks and use as desired.

To Make Muffins: Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full and bake in a 400º oven for 15-20 minutes.
