2 C. sugar
1 C. butter - softened
1 C. soured cream
(2 tsp. lemon juice, 1T. whipping
cream = soured cream)

Slowly add:

2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
5 C. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder

Mix sugar, butter and soured cream together. Add eggs, soda, salt & vanilla, mix.
Add: flour one cup at a time and mix thoroughly.
With first cup of flour add the baking powder.

Refrigerate for awhile and then roll out and cut out cookies.

Bake 350 for 8-10 min.
